Clickmagick Review: Is Clickmagick Worth? [ Personal Opinion ]

For an online marketer, Link tracking is an important factor in taking any business to the next level. But, why is that?

It is logical to concentrate your effort on avenues where you can make more money, have more leads, or simply gives the best result. In order to do that, you have to track where those leads, sales, or results are coming from.

To give an example, you advertise on Google, youtube, and Facebook. You found out that Facebook gives you better results. Then it is logical to concentrate on advertising on Facebook.

However, Link tracking is used for things way beyond just tracking links, but, We are going to talk about that later.

In this article, We are going to Clickmagick Review software and see all the good, cool, and amazing stuff that comes with it.

Simply, it is a web-based application that allows you to do many things that we are going to see later.

All you have to do is, set unique IDs to those traffic sources, like FB, INST, TWEE,….etc.

Knowing this information is very important. for example, you found out that you are not getting much traffic from Instagram, then you don’t have to waste much time on it or you have to change your strategy.

4. TRACKING THE AFFILIATE PAGES

Tracking the pages you own is no problem, but, how about you are an affiliate marketer and you send traffic to a 3rd party pages that you are affiliated with!

You need to track these links and see if your marketing effort worth the time that you spend on them.

ClickMagic has a solution for this. you assign that 3rd party page to your tracking list, once a person performs the desired action, a blank page opens, then will be forwarded to the next page in a blink of an eye and that action/lead is tracked.

That means, more leads and more sales.

6. ADD A CALL TO ACTION AND COUNTDOWN TO ANY WEBSITE

This is a really cool feature. If you are an affiliate marketer, you can add a call to action and a timer to a 3rd party’s website that is visible only to those who visit that website through your affiliate link.

It is a proven fact that scarcity and a clear call to action are huge factors in increasing sales and leads.

On the flip side of the coin, some website owners don’t like this feature because they don’t want anyone to add anything to their website.

7. DATA IMPORT AND EXPORT

This is standard practice with most software platforms. If you have a huge amount of affiliate links and several affiliate programs that you are part of, this can be a huge time saver for you and make your life a bit easier.

Then, you can take action based on those notifications. for example, if you have a notification that a certain site is not working, then you stop all links or ads pointing to that site, if you get an alert of underperforming conversion, you can stop driving traffic to it or make the necessary adjustments,…….etc.

CLICKMAGICK VS TRACKING SCRIPTS

Tracking scripts are HTML codes hardcoded in your website. but, there are three reasons that make ClickMagick better than those scripts:

ClickMagick is web-based with nothing to install, nothing to hard-code, and nothing to lose if there is a server problem, database loss, or other reasons.
Tracking scripts tend to be long and chunky which might cause lowing down the website which in return results in losing a conversion.
Usually, makers of scripts of this sort, don’t release updates and fixes because they sell scripts for a one-time fee. Unlike ClickMagick. They always have updates and fixes.

CLICKMAGICK VS GOOGLE ANALYTICS

Google Analytics is a very good reporting system that is part of Google and does what Google does. I use it, I like it, but, when compared to ClickMagick, I find ClickMagick to be much better for the following reasons:

Google Analytics doesn’t show you sites that are down, you can’t put your own numbers to see if your effort is worth it,…..etc.
ClickMagic has around 30 features that are conversion boasting or money-saving. analytics doesn’t have that.

USER EXPERIENCE

AC has more functions and power than Aweber, you will think Aweber is easier to use. But, the opposite is true. When it comes to user experience and ease of use, Activecampaig is the absolute winner.

DESIGNS

AC gives you around 40 templates that you can edit/modify if you wanted. Aweber gives you more than 150 templates. When you consider the number of templates, Aweber is better, but, when you consider the flexibility of the modernity of the templates, AC is much better than Aweber.

AUTOMATION

Automation emails with activecampaign are perfect and I think it is as good as it gets. With Aweber, It is a little confusing and the learning curve can be long compared to AC.

SUBSCRIPTION FORMS

This category comes to a personal choice.

With AC if you are on a low price package, you are given only one generic form. But, if you are on a plus or higher plan, you are given more choices and ease of use

With Aweber, you have more options, more features, and more flexibility when it comes to forms. In my case and many people, I don’t use the ready forms and I make my own forms using Elementor.

REPORTING

As I mentioned in the Pros and Cons section, reporting with activecampaign is one of the best-detailed reporting I have even seen. So clearly AC takes this category. With Aweber, there are only basic reports available.

DELIVERABILITY OF EMAILS

This is the most important thing with your emails. you don’t want them to end up in the junk folder and marked as spam. When comparing AC and Aweber, AC deliverability is higher than the deliverability of Aweber according to this

INTEGRATION

Both AC and Aweber provide a good integration system and people are happy with both.

SUPPORT

I like the support of Activecampaign, they offer chat, email, and phone lines. To be honest, I never tried the support of Aweber, what I read on the web, some are happy and some are not with Aweber.

PRICING

This depends on what package you wanted to take and what are your needs. Generally, ActiveCampaign starts at $15/month and Aweber starts at $19/month

As you can see above, Activecampaign wins in most categories when compared with Aweber. Based on that fact, We can say that AC is definitely much better than Aweber. It is also cheaper and they offer 14 days free trial, so why not try it!

WHAT I DIDN’T LIKE WITH ACTIVECAMPAIGN

When I first started with AC, and I discovered that they don’t allow affiliate links like Drip, I was a bit worried. I am an affiliate marketer and affiliate links are the bloodline of my business.

When I searched on the net and saw what people do to combat this problem, I was relieved. Here is what I do:

Instead of affiliate links in my emails, I forward them to my landing pages, then from there, I redirect to where ever I want to send them when it is very easy to do and it is all over youtube.

That means It is a very important thing to have a website if you are an affiliate marketer and want to use Activecampaign. For me, it was very much worth it. with drip, I was paying $49/month. Now I pay $25/month

As we saw above, AC wins in almost every category. I don’t see why someone takes Aweber over AC at all especially when Aweber charges for duplicate subscribers

When it comes to price, AC is much cheaper. aside from that, it depends on what you want the platform for. Drip has more features and functions that are used in eCommerce but are not used in affiliate marketing or a simple blog.

In my case when I was using drip, I was not using all the functions that I was paying for so, I switched.

My Recommendation – For eCommerce get Drip, otherwise get AC

ACTIVECAMPAIGN VS COMVERTKIT

AC is a little cheaper to start but it gets almost the same as ConverKit. But, where AC takes the winning price over ConvertKit is, it has more complex automation and has many more triggers and tags.

HOW TO MAKE SURE YOUR EMAILS DON’T END UP IN JUSK MAIL?

In general, you should avoid being “pushy” in your emails, you should avoid using phrases like Debt-free, Free, Earn,…..etc.

The best thing is, to tell a story without pushing for sales then put a link without telling people to buy anything.

After you do that, you should consider checking your email score with a 3rd party service provider. Usually, they are paid service but, some of them allow you to use a certain number of times for free.

I use the service https://www.mail-tester.com/ that allows you to check your score 3 times a day for free

The whole book is packed with value and I like it. But, the part I liked is “The Three Lost Funnel”. I don’t actually do Network Marketing, but this section can be applied to any online business. Let me elaborate more on this.

THE BRIDGE FUNNEL

This is very important not only in network marketing but, in any online-based marketing. Let me give you an example:

Let’s say I am advertising anything online, just anything. People go to my website or landing page or funnel, they put their email address, and once they submit, they get forwarded to big corporation website with no introduction. This confuses people.

What should be done is, after they submit their email, there should be another page which is mine introducing myself and telling them they will be forwarded to the corporation’s site. Basically, it is a bridge between the initial page and the corporation. This also means that you don’t have to talk to people who are not interested because it is web-based and people go to your site, not you going to people.

THE HOME PARTY FUNNEL

This is very similar to hosting a house party but it is an online form. In a non-pressurized environment, you will be able to showcase your products and services, with no requirement for your potential clients to be physically there.

This allows people to buy from you and leave the feeling on others that they are missing something. At the minimum, you will be able to increase your mailing list at that party.

THE HOTEL MEETING FUNNEL

This form of funnels is the larger version of the house party. It is more organized, more formalized, and bigger. You might ask for advance registration, you might have a registration deadline, and you might have attendees’ limitations. WHAT I DIDN’T LIKE ABOUT CLICKFUNNELS ANNOUNCEMENT

When Clickfunnels Platinum first released September 23rd, there was a talk that funnel sharing won’t be available and it was actually tested and really was not available. I didn’t like that part since sharing funnel was a huge selling point for affiliates. But now, September 26th, it was all fixed and sharing is available and confirmed by Russel himself. I am sure all affiliates will be happy with that.

Another thing that I didn’t like is the price. For now, it is still at $297/month but it will be $697/month. We don’t know when it is going up to that price, Russell himself doesn’t know yet.

I think small businesses and affiliates who are just starting will struggle to pay that amount. That price should be really justified for them.

However, stablished affiliates and those who know the value of clickfunnels won’t hesitate to pay that amount on a monthly basis.

If you have your own products and accept affiliates to promote your products, products and you use Backpack Affiliate System tools, you should think twice.

It is also a no brainer to get the product for a test drive for 14 days. Who knows, maybe that is the one thing missing from your business.

Let’s have a quick look at the content of the book and explain the main ideas of each chapter

SECTION 1 – MASS MOVEMENT

The movement that matters always created by a leader who is charismatic, with a vision to the future, and always creates new opportunities.

In this section, Russell confirms what we always hear about evergreen niches. In order for anyone to become a leader, a certain niche must be chosen. The evergreen niches (Wealth, health, and relationships) We really need to drill down to these niches and get into a sub-niche in order for us to become experts in our field.

Let’s take an example of Health. This is a huge market that includes many sub-niches like weight loss, diet, muscle building,…… etc. It is impossible for a person to be an expert on all of these, and that is why we have to really choose a sub-niche.

Also in this section, Russell talks about what kind of person people want to follow and want to become like. He gives a specific example based on his experience.

SECTION 2 – HOW TO CREATE BELIEF?

No matter what you have, what you sell, how good your product or service is, if a potential customer doesn’t believe in what you have to offer, he won’t buy. Period.

So, in this section, Russell talks about creating that belief, that conviction, that makes everything from growing your audience to selling your product or service easier.

Connect with your audience through emotions not logic. Tell them the emotional story where you got your “Aha” moment. Let them feel it, let them experience it because that is what makes them buy.

As an example, a good eCommerce website, put on the product description page things that show what the product can do for you because that is what makes them buy, it is not the features of a product.

For example, I don’t buy a can opener because it is made out of this and that, I don’t buy it because I like the color, I don’t buy it because it is a certain brand. Rather, I buy it because it opens cans for me. Sure, after that, I might look at the features but it is not the main thing I buy it for.

SECTION 3 – THE STACK

No, you built expertise and authority, you have loyal followers, and you have a product or service. How do you increase the value of your product? That what this section of the book talks about and known as Stack Slide.

You have the product, now it is time to work on your offer and make it an irresistible offer while selling your product through webinars in the best-case scenario.

Russell spent probably most of his life doing webinars, and knows what he is talking about, so, no doubt, He is giving the best formula of a webinar in this book.

I expected this book would be a sales pitch but it was jam packed with step by step advice to create a sales webinar, generate more leads, and close high ticket coaching clients. Even as someone who doesn’t sell coaching, I felt there were so many things that were applicable, that I’ve forgotten in marketing or I’ve gotten lazy about. And, definitely some new ideas too. A bit surprised to say I highly recommend this to anyone selling online – especially if you do or want to do webinars.

Russell Brunson is the man. I can’t believe he tells everybody this information for the cost of the book. But since most of his products are information products (minus Click Funnels), it makes sense that he gives out so much information. His book is actually part of his sales funnel, and everything he says in this book is true and it works.

This book is especially useful if you already have a business and you’re looking to improve your sales. If you already have a product, then you’ve already jumped over the biggest hurdle. Everything else is easy, you just have to do it.
