2. Not everyone is accepted to become an affiliate

Even if you finish the 15 day business builder challenge, there is no guarantee you will be accepted. I don’t know what is the criteria of acceptance but, that is the reality.

They have an amazing affiliate program, the problem is, not everyone is accepted. I don’t really know what are the qualification they are looking for but, I had a hard time getting accepted.
Some of the products, while they are so valuable, they are expensive in terms that not everyone can pay. It will be more attractive if they have payment plans to make it easier for more people to join.
You have to pay $30/month if you want to make a higher percentage commission. I never understood this concept where I have to pay to promote someone else’s product.
There is a big list of countries that are banned or locked of becoming legendary so, the program is not open to everyone in the world.

The thing you have to know about Mailchimp is, that they have a free plan for up to 2,500 subscribers but, to be honest, I used it for some time but, never like it at all.

There are two things I didn’t like about Mailchimp

It is not easy to use and the platform is confusing
They don’t allow affiliate links

So, for me, I prefer Automizy better than Mailchimp big time.

Automizy Vs Drip

Drip is an email service that I like so much but, depending on what you need, Drip is more on e-commerce and offers more than just an email service for affiliate marketing emails.

That is also reflected in the price since it starts at $49/month which is not an easy amount, especially for someone who is just starting an online business

So, If you have an e-commerce, go with Drip, otherwise, go with Automizy

While the platform is like any other email marketing platform, Automizy excels in five areas that I love the most.

Ease of use – As I said earlier, the platform is easy to use and the learning curve is not that long compared to other similar services. This can be an advantage for those who are not experienced in technology

Double Chances – With Automizy, you have a double chance of your emails being opened which can greatly help your open rate.

AC is one of the widely used email services. It has a high deliverability rate, practical functionality, and very good automation.

Price starts at $15/month for 500 subscribers and goes up which is really reasonable.

ActiveCampaign has unique features like:

The thing that I didn’t like about AC is, that they don’t allow affiliate links or wording like “make money” “affiliate income”,…..etc. and things similar to these, to solve that problem, you have to be careful about the wordings you use, and you have to have a bridge page if you are doing affiliate marketing which is very easy to do.

AC is a very popular autoresponder and it is very powerful. A combination of amazing features and reasonable prices made it be used by a lot of business owners including myself.

It is a very easy platform since it uses a drag-and-drop process. The price is reasonable and they offer 14 days free trial.

AC acts as an all-in-one platform and you find everything you need in one place. Email service, forms, landing pages. This can be a little high learning curve and you will find a guide on the site to show you around.

Drip has many features that are not actually used by marketers and used by eCommerce owners.

There are many things I like about Drip like Sharing workflows, Segmentation and the power of bulk change, resending a broadcast to subscribers who didn’t open the email, ease of use, detailed reporting, and many more.

With those features comes the price. The price of Drip starts at $49/month which is not cheap compared to those other services. The only time I suggest going with drip is if you are heavily invested in affiliate marketing or you have a large eCommerce store.

The only two things I don’t like about Drip is, they don’t offer an affiliate program, and customer service is not that awesome.

There is no A/B testing
No visually appealing emails
Tagging inactive subscribers as “Cold”

Other than that, It is a sold email service fairly new to the industry but became one of the most popular in a few short years.

I like a few things about CK like:

Automatic resend unopened emails
Editing automation emails without losing the view and the focus

Recently, ConverKit added a free plan of up to 100 subscribers. It is not for a limited time, it is forever but up to 100 subscribers only, if you want to have more subscribers, then you have to pay for it.

You have full access to everything in this plan and it is a very good way to start. See the plan here

I don’t like the reporting details and outdated templates and forms.

Mailchimp is one of the biggest providers of emails. I think that is because they give you a free plan up to 2000 subscribers and 12,000 emails a month.

There are a good side and a bad side with Mailchimp, my biggest concern with it is, charging for duplicate subscribers, and their automation that is not powerful.

I tried it some time ago and found out that it doesn’t work for my business especially, that it is not so friendly to affiliate links, so, I decided to move on.

Mailchimp also has some good features like nice looking email templates and forms and certainly the free plan.

If I compare it with another mailing service, it would be very similar to Aweber and to be honest, they are not the best marketing emails in the market.

When it comes to integration to 3rd party platforms, Mailchimp integrates with most.

Another thing I don’t like about Mailchimp is, they reserve the right to suspend your account for any reason and without any prior notice. For example, if your emails receive a lot of complaints, they can terminate your account.

It is not also allowed to have more than one form for a list, so, if you want another form, you should create another list a feature that is not practical.

GetResponse is one of the old services in the market. A lot of people like it and like the visuality while performing tasks.

The service can have an argument for having the best open rate of emails because of a feature that it delivers emails at the best time to your subscribers based on previous actions of those subscribers.

Another feature that is nice is, if you set an email to be sent at 11 am, GetResponse sends it at 11 AM at the local time of your subscribers.

Besides the two features above, everything else is standard and almost can be found with any provider in the market.

When it comes to affiliate links, it is allowed except Amazon affiliate links, so, if you are an Amazon affiliate, you may want to think again about GetResponse.

Another thing that I don’t like with GetResponse is, it is a list based platform, if you have more than one list, then you have to pay for duplicate subscribers.

When first came out, it used to be one of the best and the leading email service in the market. But, I have no idea what happened lately, there were no meaningful updates for things that need to be updated.

Aweber fell behind and is not the best provider anymore.

It is a list based service, which means you are charged for duplicate and unsubscribed subscribers. That is not fair especially when you have many providers in the market.

Affiliate links are ok with Aweber,

Finally, Aweber is a good service provider when you look at it in isolation, but, when you compare it to the competition in the market, it has no chance at all.

In my opinion, MailerLite is an underrated service. It has much more than Mailchimp has to offer, powerful automation, segment, and group to manage subscribers, landing pages builder, nice forms, pop-ups, and many more.

It puzzles me why it is not known as Mailchimp!

While automation is not as powerful as ActiveCampaign, but still one of the best in the market especially when you compare prices.

When it comes to usage, it is so friendly and easy to use.

The platform has a good or standard service. Automation is standard with limited power. It has good email and form templates, but, I don’t think many people care about that.

Benchmark also has A/B testing which is a cool feature.

The service falls short in areas like deliverability issues and A/B testing being delayed.

I don’t know how many people use this service but, I guess they are not much because of the price.

When I think about it $79 for 1000 subscribers doesn’t work for me. But, if you can afford it, it is a very good service. They also offer a 90-day money-back guarantee.

MY RECOMMENDATION OF EMAIL SERVICE

This is not one size fits all, rather, it is a case to case ruling. What I mean to say is, it depends on why you want the email service, what are you doing with it, and what is your business,….etc.

So, I am going to break it down into a few categories.

First of all, all mailing services have a free trial period and some have a free plan forever, so, you can actually try it before you stick with it (that’s what I do)

If you want an email service for e-commerce and a service that would grow with you, I go with ActiveCampaign or Drip. But, if you are concern about the price, I would exclude Drip and go with ActiveCampaign.
If you are looking for a free account that gets you going until you start making money, then go with one of these three, ConverKit, MailChimp, or MailerLite. I would exclude Mailchimp for its crappy automation and go with ConvertKit or MailerLite
If you have a sales team and want to track all your sales and communication, then Ontraport is perfect for you if the price of $79 to start won’t be a barrier.

So, you have to decide for yourself the service that is suitable for you or at least you can give it a try. Let me know in the comment below what your choice was.

WHAT EMAIL SERVICE PROVIDER DO I USE?

For me personally, I went through several, then I chose two of them.

Currently, I use ActiveCampaign and Drip. I have a list in both and I use them both on a daily basis.

Drip is a bit expensive to start, but ActiveCampaign has a good price and great service. If you are just starting, I recommend ActiveCampaign.

FINAL THOUGHT

At the end of the day, you, as a business owner, what you care about is more return in whatever your goal is and being effective at communication with your subscribers.

For that purpose, you have to choose the marketing email service that meets your requirements.

Good automation, great email deliverability, modern and editable forms, and landing pages, and price should be taken into consideration in judging the email service provider.

The good thing about these providers is, they all have a free trial period that you can use and try the platform and see if it meets your standard then make your choice.

Take some time, try a few providers, and be the judge.

HOW TO GET MORE SUBSCRIBERS?

The fastest way is paid ads, but I don’t recommend that since we do this for free. So here are my recommendations.

REMEMBER: We are taking health and fitness as an example here, but you can choose any niche you want.

Join health and fitness Facebook groups to see people who need help, offer them your advice, and try to help them. Then send them your email sign-up page.
Join forums related to weight loss and fitness and do the same thing
Make a Facebook group related to your niche and invite people to join
Go to question-and-answer sites like Quora and answer people’s questions. See mine here
If you are good at writing, you can start a blog site

So, by now, you have your email marketing software, you have your form or landing page where people can sign up, you have your lead magnet, you have your series of emails set up, and you are collecting emails and adding subscribers,… The question that begs itself is, HOW DO I MAKE MONEY

It is essential to understand two things here and make them a guideline. That is how you make money.

People who subscribe to your mailing list seek a solution to a particular problem. In this case, they might want to lose weight, be more active, healthy,….etc.
Help people and money follows

In your emails, now and then, you are going to recommend a product where you can earn an affiliate commission when someone buys….. Don’t worry. I will show you where to get the products.

You must recommend only the products you believe in and believe can help people.

WHERE TO GET PRODUCTS TO SELL?

As I said above, We are doing affiliate marketing using emails. Indeed, there is no shortage of companies that offer affiliate commissions, including Amazon, Wal-Mart, and almost everyone.

Doing affiliate marketing has many advantages:

You don’t have to have products on your own
You don’t sell. You recommend
You don’t deal with the selling or returns process
All you have to do is, get the buyer to the supplier

I like to use Clickbank to promote products. Clickbank is a platform where you can find products to promote in almost any niche you can imagine. I like this platform for two reasons:

Easy to get approved
Commissions are high

Here is what you do:

Go to https://www.clickbank.com/ and create a free account.
After that login and find a product to promote by clicking “market Place,” then on the left side, choose a niche (in our case, it is health and fitness)

When you click “Health & Fitness,” you will see a list of products in that niche.

For the sake of this example, we will promote the first product, “Leptitox,” which is suitable for three reasons, 1. Good commission $61.14/sale 2. It has an affiliate page 3. it has a high gravity.
Here is the significant part, these companies want you to make money because they make money when you make it. So, in the Affiliate Page, you have everything you need to promote the product,, like Articles that you can use as your own, email swipes (Remember I told you I would show you another place to get emails from?), images, sample ads, written contents, ……etc.

HOW TO GET THE AFFILIATE LINK?

As I said above, click on the brown “Promote” button, then a window opens that looks like this:

Then click the brown “Generate Hoplink,” and your affiliate link is generated. That is the link you want people to click on it

TOOLS YOU GET ON THE AFFILIATE PAGE

To promote any product in Clickbank, click on the brown promote button, then a link is generated, that is the link that you try to get people to click on it, and include it in your emails.

So, all you have to do is, include this weight loss product in your emails once or two times a week, and you can make money.

MY RECOMMENDATIONS

Don’t use Clickbank emails as is because they are too pushy. Instead, you can modify them to be less aggressive or create your own along with the free sample emails I gave you.
This is only the starting point of affiliate marketing, but if you want to expand and make your business 6 or even 7 figure business, I recommend 2 courses, The One Funnel Away and CB University
Concentrate more on helping people, and the money will follow
Don’t spam your affiliate links all over the internet. Rather, build a system that makes affiliate marketing work.
You have to choose carefully when selecting a product to promote o Clickbank. Some of those products look spammy and outdated.
There is a list of countries where Clickbank is not allowed (see below) if you are in one of these countries, you have to look for alternatives. I will try to make another post with an alternative to Clickbank

CAN I USE MAILCHIMP INSTEAD OF CONVERTKIT?

This is a very good question. Mailchimp offers free email service up to 2,000 subscribers, which is much more than 100 subscribers that we are working with at this project.

The answer is no, you can’t use Mailchimp for this project for a simple fact that they don’t allow affiliate links. If you include affiliate links in your emails, you will be banned without warning.

I also used Mailchimp in the past, and I didn’t like it at all

CAN YOU SHOW ME THE PROCESS AND EMAILS YOU DO?

MY RECOMMENDATIONS - Expert guide: How to start affiliate marketing?

Now, that people are on my mailing list, I have to send them the Ebook I promised (If you promise your subscribers something, you have to fulfill it). For me, I use to mailing service, Drip, and ActiveCampaig. For this process, I use Drip which I will show you below.
Before I offer people the free PDF, I had a sequence of emails that send the PDF and follow up in place already (You should do the same). This is called WorkFlow. I will show you what those emails look like. You can model or copy my emails if you want, or write your own.

After putting their email address in, the first email they get is with a subject “Your Ebook has been delivered” and I am giving them the book I promised. I will show you what that email looks like below: (Note: the link is just dropbox link where I saved the PDF file)

Usually, I send an email to my subscribers every 2 or 3 days, but for this, I want to make sure they got the book. It is so important for me they get the book because it is filled with my affiliate links. So, after 24 hours, I email them again with some valuable content and a reminder to grab the free ebook, with the subject “4 Interesting Affiliate Marketing Stats” here is what the email looks like

After 3 days, I email them with an affiliate offer and valuable content. See below

In 2 days, I email them again with good content and affiliate offers. In the end, I remind them again to grab their free PDF

ConvertKit Review: Is it worth it for you?

So what is ConvertKit?

ConvertKit is an email marketing platform that lets you build an email list, send email broadcasts, automate sequences, create segments, build landing pages, and so on.

When businesses don’t send emails to their subscribers, or they don’t even collect emails, they are leaving money on the table.

Email marketing has become a fundamental part of any business. It is practiced by huge companies like Amazon, Coach, Safeway, and many more because it simply works.

Many companies are even willing to discount your purchase if you give them your email address. They know it is an asset and can make more money in the feature because they can reach you whenever they want. However, they want, through a simple email.

You need an autoresponder or email marketing system to automate the process of sending emails to subscribers.

WHAT IS CONVERTKIT?

ConvertKit is a reasonably new email service provider that came to the market. Since then, it has kept improving until it became one of the popular providers in the market.

It is a huge accomplishment that a new service like this competes among the leaders in this field.

IS ConvertKit RIGHT FOR ME?

Every business owner needs and must use email service providers to target customers through email without paying a single penny in advertising; that is a given fact.

When choosing the provider, there are several options out there. If you are looking at ease of use, headache-free, and designed for the non-techy platform, then I strongly recommend ConvertKit.

FORMS AND LANDING PAGES

Forms are used to get more subscribers to your list, usually by offering them something in return, like a free PDF.

ConvertKit allows you to create four forms: Inline, Modal, Slide-in, or Sticky bar.

Usually, the form layout is tested to work, and you won’t have to make much customization. You can embed those forms, or you can make them pop up.

As for landing pages, they are stand-alone pages where you can choose one of the 34 ready-to-use/customizable pages.

There are not many customization options, but, in return, the pages look very nice and modern.

LISTS VS TAGS IN CONVERTKIT

This was a little confusing for me when I first started using ConvertKit. With Drip, ActiveCampaign, and Aweber, the database was separated by lists; for example, I have a list of KRA Marketing, KRA Fitness, and other company.

However, with ConvertKit, you have one shared database separated by tags. If I have three companies called A, B, and C, the list is tagged with A, B, or C.

When you first start, you can import your subscribers if you have any within 2 minutes.

BROADCAST

Broadcast is where you send a one-time email to all or part of your subscribers.

LISTS VS TAGS IN CONVERTKIT - ConvertKit Review: Is it worth it for you?

You have to use the segment or tag if you don’t want to send it to all your subscribers. You also can test different titles by clicking the A/B button, where you can create another label. Then, after some time, the system tells you which works best.

The editor is a standard HTML editor, and I don’t think it could be easier than this.

AUTOMATION EMAILS

This is where you create a sequence of emails once, and the feature will automatically send it to all new subscribers. This is the point of autoresponders, which is why I use an email service provider.

This is a huge time-saving to have. All big players in the market do it, use it, and make huge bucks with it.

You can put complicated conditions to control your automated emails and make them act precisely how you want them to act.

CONVERTKIT EXCEL IN THE FOLLOWING AREAS

EDITING AUTOMATION EMAILS

I used Drip, ActiveCampaign, and Aweber. When I want to edit automation emails, the platform takes me away from the visual map of the automation, and I can edit or write the email.

With ConvertKit, it is different; when editing automation emails, your visual map of the automation moves to the left, where you can see it while editing your email. This is a perfect thing to have in an email provider platform.

POWERFUL SEGMENTATION

I never saw something like this in an email provider platform except ConvertKit. In one email, you can choose a specific sentence/word/paragraph to be seen only for certain people according to your segmentation.

This is powerful. For example, you can let only selected people see a link, coupon code,…….etc.

In the past, I sent a separate email to those selected people, but now, I don’t have to do that anymore.

BROADCAST EMAIL RESEND

I saw a handy and practical feature only with Drip and ConvertKit.

Broadcast emails are those emails sent to all or part of your subscribers; it is almost impossible for your email to be seen and opened 100%

So, you can send the email again to those who didn’t open it in a day or two, increasing your open rate.

CONVERTKIT PITFALLS

There is nothing perfect in our world, and don’t be surprised if I tell you ConvertKit is one of them 🙂

NO A/B TESTING FOR AUTOMATION SEQUENCES

A/B testing is when you want to test an email with a different title of different ….. etc., and the system shows you after a while which works well.

With ConvertKIT, you can A/B test the title in broadcast emails, but you can’t do it in automation emails.

COLD SUBSCRIBERS

With ConvertKit, subscribers who didn’t open emails in the last 90 days will be tagged as “cold,” and there is nothing you can do about it.

You have limited ability to deal with that.

VISUALLY APPEALING EMAILS

Emails in ConvertKit are done in a plain text format and are not visually appealing. Speaking for myself, all my emails ate purely text, and I don’t use templates.

For those who want to send templates and visually appealing emails, it won’t be available with ConvertKit.

But, if you know how to do HTML or CSS, you will be fine, and you can modify your emails how you want them to show.

LIMITED SET OF TRIGGERS TO AN AUTOMATION FLOW

A trigger is an action of an event that lets a subscriber join a specific automation sequence email.

ConvertKit has minimal triggers compared to other services like Drip or ActiveCampaign.

This might be good enough for some users, and others might need more. It depends on what you want.

CONVERTKIT VS DRIP

Aside from the price difference, which is Drip is much higher, Drip has more features and functions directed to eCommerce. ConvertKit is still at the starting point of getting into eCommerce, but it doesn’t compete with Drip at all.

CONVERTKIT VS DRIP VERDICT – If you are doing eCommerce, go with Drip; otherwise, you can go with ConvertKit

CONVERTKIT VS ACTIVECAMPAIGN

At the lower level, ActiveCampaign is cheaper, but it gets almost the same when you have more subscribers.

ActiveCampaign has more complex and complicated triggers, tags, and automation, but, ConverKit is easy to use and beginner-friendly.

One thing I don’t like about ActiveCampaign is they don’t allow affiliate links in emails. But, what I do is I link to my website and then, from there, to my affiliate programs.

CONVERTKIT VS ACTIVECAMPAIGN VERDICT – If you are looking for a simple-to-use and beginner-friendly platform, use ConvertKit. If you are looking to do complicated automation emails, then go with ActiveCampaign.

CONVERTKIT VS AWEBER

The price of Aweber is a little cheaper than ConvertKit. I can’t find anything else to recommend Aweber over ConvertKit.

CONVERTKIT VS AWEBER VERDICT – If you want a lower price, go with Aweber. Otherwise, I recommend ConvertKit over Aweber.

CONVERTKIT VS MAILCHIMP

However, MailChimp is offering the first 2000 subscribers free; I never liked it for the following reasons:

They don’t allow affiliate links
Complicated-to-use and ugly automation
tagging features that are not available with Mailchimp

CONVERTKIT VS MAILCHIMP VERDICT – No question about that. I go with ConvertKit.

As I said above, the platform is relatively new to the market, but in short years, it has become one of the leading email services.

It is directed to bloggers, content creators, and affiliate marketers. It is easy to use and powerful, with some limitations.

They even offer a trial period you can take advantage of and see for yourself.

Aweber Review – Why I chose Aweber for Email marketing!

If you ask any marketer or any entrepreneur online about regrets they have or mistakes they made, one of the common answers is, that they didn’t start collecting email addresses when starting their journey.

Collecting emails is of the things that separate a marketer who is crushing it and another who is just getting by. That is the reason big companies like Amazon, Old Navy, Coach, and others always ask you for your email when you shop there because simply put, it works.

It doesn’t have to be only online marketers, but if you have a physical business, collecting emails means more revenue and more asset.

To do something like that, Hotmail or Gmail doesn’t cut it. You need something called an Auto Responder that automates your email. In the past, I reviewed Active Campaign and how I switched from Drip to AC, and today, I am going to give a complete Aweber review of the Aweber system.

WHY DO I NEED AN AUTORESPONDER?

It is all about efficiency and time-saving. If you are a business owner, let’s face it, you don’t have the time to sit there every day to send an email to your subscribers. An autoresponder makes it easy for you.

I write a series of emails every now and then, but the catch is, that I write those emails once, and anyone who subscribes to my list after that, will be sent those emails according to the conditions I specify.

Also, autoresponders help you put conditions to emails. For example, you can say send email number 2 if email number 1 is opened, Wait 2 days before sending a certain email, you can segment your subscribers according to their interest, and many more. see my autoresponder below

WHY AWEBER?

Aweber is one of the earlier autoresponders out there and one of the most respectful ones. It offers many great features like

High deliverability rate by delivering your email to the subscriber’s inboxes instead to a junk folder
You can control all aspects of your automation process
It offers great sign up forms and one of the best in the market.
The whole system is really easy to use and no experience is needed
It includes important reporting tools that allow you the status of your emails.

Lately, the reputation and demand for Aweber started to decline, and that is because of the new autoresponders in the market and the increasing demand of users.

Aweber still a great option if your business and email conditions are not complicated. If they are, you can see other options like ActiveCampaign.

Let’s have a look inside my account and talk about certain features and what I like or don’t like about Aweber.

As you can see, Aweber still provides the basic services that all providers offer.

FOLLOW UP SERIES

It is used to send emails inside automation. That means you can send certain messages to certain groups of people if the condition that you put applies. This is actually the main feature in any Autoresponder because you can control the whole aspect, and you can control the whole condition and you can make the email act EXACTLY the way you want them to act.

This feature can be accessed on the messages them Campaigns. This is also known as automation in other providers

BROADCAST

This is an email sent once or twice to all or part of your subscribers. You can use Drag and drop, text, or HTML editor to create your messages

CAMPAIGN

This is useful when sending a series of messages through a certain period of time that you define to educate your subscribers and give them value so they keep you in mind the next time they need something that you can help with.

A perfect example of a campaign is a newsletter.

BLOG BROADCAST

This is a cool feature that I didn’t see with another provider. If you have a blog post, simply copy and paste the RSS Feed URL or copy and paste the text, and Aweber converts your blog post into a Newsletter.

This is very cool but, I don’t know the practicality of it. Let’s say your blog post is 2,500 words. This way, you are sending 2,500 words through an email. In this fast past world, I don’t think that is practical and you be the judge.

You can even choose from different templates that are provided.

FORMS

Aweber forms are standard like any other provider. But it is fair to say, most of those forms are outdated. That is when it comes to ready-to-use forms.

On the other side, you can build your own forms and it is easy to do, and Aweber has very good support for that.

SUBSCRIBERS & MAILING LISTS

This is standard among all providers. You can create lists, you can import your list from a CSV file and add tags to your subscribers, can segment them, can add notes, and much more.

All functionalities are provided by other providers like Activecampaign, convertkit, or others.

REPORTS

This is the feature I like most about Aweber. Their reporting tool is really advanced and you can get everything you need to know about your campaigns, broadcast messages, and automation emails.

I can say that reporting tools can be similar to drip when I was using it, but the reality is, not many people want to see that detailed reports, but, it is good to have it.

Traffic means potential customers. It is the same thing with an offline business. If there are no people coming to your business, then your business is dead.

In this article, I will show you how to drive a lot of traffic from Pinterest or Instagram to your website or to any affiliate offer you would like without spending too much time on it. We will be using free accounts of Tailwind app, Canva, and Pinterest.

WHAT IS PINTEREST?

Pinterest is a search engine platform but specific to pictures. Think of it as Google but deals only with pictures. It is like when you want to search for videos, you go to Youtube, and when you want to search for pictures, you go to Pinterest.

For example, if I search for “recipes” I get endless pictures of recipes:

You can click on any picture then when you open a certain picture and click on it, it takes you where the poster wants you to go. It could be their website, could be an affiliate link, and could be anywhere.

Think about Pinterest like Facebook. if you are a marketer or a blogger, the likes on Facebook doesn’t matter. What matters is, how many people click on the links you post and go wherever that link takes them. In my case, it is my blog or my affiliate link.

The same way with Pinterest, what matters is how many people click on your link. By the way, a post on Pinterest is called a Pin. Let’s see the component of a Pin.

The big grey area is where you put the picture you want to Pin/post (Don’t worry, I will show you how to make amazing pictures in under 3 minutes
Select – Select one of the boards you want to pin this picture on. Think about a board like niches and you can create them in Pinterest
Add your title – That’s where you put an attractive title
Tell everyone what your Pin is about – This is where you put a short description about your Pin and include hashtags if you want
Add a destination link – This is where you put a link and where you want your visitors to go

Now, let me fill those fields as an example so you can see how it should be…..

This Pin links to a simple blog post I set. When people click on the picture, it takes them to a blog post where they find a piece of simple information about the product. In that blog post, there is a bottom where they can click and by the product. You can try it yourself and see how it works here.

The question is, Pinterest is a huge space, how can we get people to see our pins and click on them.

That depends on three main things:

The quality of your Pin – Quality of picture, attractive title, a good description which are things you can do and not difficult.
Pinning a lot of Pictures – You have to show Pinterest that you are active and you have to pin 20-30 times a day which is a really exciting and boring thing for you to do. BUT, that is the purpose of this post. I will show you how to do that without actually doing it, I will show you how to have tons of traffic without spending too much time on Pinterest.

In this article, We are going to talk about Tailwind app that makes posting on Pinterest as easy as it could be.

Note: It works the same way for Instagram but I never tried it.

WHAT IS THE TAILWIND APP?

It is a marketing tool that helps in scheduling Instagram posts and Pinterest Pins. Think about it as automating a manual process.

It is easy to use and integrates with your Pinterest account through a Chrome extension that you can install for free.

It is a rule that if you pinned anything in a tribe, you have to pin someone else’s pin. So the end result becomes that tribe members keep pinning the post of each other exposing them to more traffic and different people, which results in them (tribe members) having more traffic to their sites.

So in short, tribes and communities in the tailwind app keep sharing posts with each other.

The rules and policies of each tribe are different.

Another cool thing about tribes is, that you get a full report showing you all your pins and the shares you received. from that report, you can change the tribe or keep it.

MAKE A FREE ACCOUNT AT CANVA

Canva is the free software to make eye-catching images for social media or anything else. It is really simple. After you log in to canvas and on the search bar type Pinterest and select Pinterest Graphic from the drop-down menu

Canva gives you an unlimited number of pre-designed high-quality templates. Select one of them and click on the text to change it if you want and you can even change the image. If you want free images, you can get them on Pixabay

Select one of the templates by clicking “use this template”

After you change everything you want to change, download it on PNG format and now you have the image on your computer.

Note: – You can change the image and you have another quality ready pin in 30 seconds

Now, you are ready to post or pin your image on Pinterest. Make sure to make a free Pinterest account and do the following:

Go to Pinterest, click the + sign and click Create a Pin

You get a blank form-type page. Fill in the blank.

Drag your image to the empty area, put a title, description, and link, and select a board

Then click Publish and your Pin will be published

At this point, it is posted on Pinterest, all we need to do is, put it on a smart loop on Tailwind and post it to a tribe. Follow the steps below:

Make sure you uploaded the Tailwind Chrome extension because it would make things easier

Once you hover over any image, you see the tailwind logo if you downloaded the extension. Click on that logo

Then the images open just like the picture below. You can see two buttons at the button, Add to tribe button and ad to smart loop button

Click “Add to smart loop” and choose one of the loos you have. The purpose of this is, that Tailwind keeps pinning this image over and over until the time you stop it. This is key in getting traffic from Pinterest (You have to pin a lot)

The loop also called smart because it knows when your subscribers are most active and pins during that time.

Note: – You have to pre-create smart loos in tailwind

Then again, click “Add to a tribe” then select one or more tribes to add your image to.

That is all to it really, once you do it for a few days, you be an expert and you will be quick

HOW TO FIND AND JOIN A TRIBE IN THE TAILWIND APP?

Click on Tribes, then click on Find a tribe. Then type the keyword to find a tribe or select from the menu below.

Once you see a tribe that you like, just join and make sure to read the rules because some of them don’t accept certain things like an affiliate link for example.

It is a very simple thing to create a new smart loop. Just click “smart Loop” then click “New Loop”
